2How do I play?
Drag from a car along the road into the garage with the same colour. When every car has a route, tap Go. All cars drive at the same time, one square per step. If two cars meet on the same square, or swap squares, they crash. Use fewer squares of road for more stars.
3Is Honk! free?
Yes. All levels can be played for free. Coins come from clearing levels, Daily Dash and your weekly league. You can also buy coins, the Starter pack, “No ads” or premium themes. Purchases never affect Daily Dash.
4How do lives work?
You have 5 lives. A crash in a level costs one life, and one life comes back every 30 minutes. You can keep your heart right after a crash with coins or a short video, or refill lives in the game.
5How do hints work?
A hint shows the best route for one car. You start with a few hints, and more cost coins or a short video. Hints are not available in Daily Dash.
6How do I remove ads?
Open the Shop and buy No ads. It removes the ads between levels for good. Videos you choose to watch for rewards are still there.
7I bought something but it is missing
Open Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android) you bought with. Coins are consumable and are added once, when you buy them. If something is still missing, email us the date of the purchase.
8How do Daily Dash and the leagues work?
Daily Dash has eight new stages every day, the same for everyone. You get one try per day, and one crash ends the run. Your score is stages cleared × 100 plus a speed bonus.
Each week you play in a group of 30 in your league (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond). Your best 5 days count. Play at least 3 days to qualify for the weekly chest. On Sunday night the top 5 move up and the bottom 5 move down.
9Leaderboards, Game Center and friends
Daily Dash, the weekly leagues and the world and country leaderboards work on every phone without signing in. On iPhone you can also sign in to Game Center to see your friends on the leaderboards and collect achievements. It is optional, and you can sign in or out under Settings → Game Center.
10Sound, music, vibration and notifications
Music, sound effects, vibration and reduced motion each have a switch in Settings. Notifications (new Daily Dash, lives refilled) can be turned on or off there, or in your phone's settings: Settings → Notifications → Honk! on iPhone, or Settings → Apps → Honk! → Notifications on Android.
11Ad privacy choices
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland you can change your ad consent under Settings → Privacy settings. On iPhone you control tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (the name can differ a little between phones).
12My progress is gone
Progress is saved on your phone. If you delete the app, local progress is deleted too. Purchases of No ads, the Starter pack and themes can be restored. Contact us if you lost progress without deleting the app and we will try to help.
13Delete my data
Email contact@algomate.se with your league name and roughly when you last played, and we delete your player data from our servers. See the privacy policy.
